photo : Jonathan Durand The Percéides International Arts and Film Festival of Percé in Gaspésie ended on a high note last Saturday evening. The 2010 edition was a great success doubling the attendance of its previous edition.
"LES AMOURS IMAGINAIRES" IS PERCE’S PUBLIC FAVOURITE
XAVIER DOLAN’S "LES AMOURS IMAGINAIRES" IS THE PUBLIC’S FIRST CHOICE AS IT WINS "LE COUP DE COEUR DU PUBLIC". All seats were sold out in Percé on Friday evening for Dolan’s latest film. This first-time award at the Percéides Festival also included a film writing residency scholarship for the young director.
May we remind everyone that the Percéides’ 2nd edition, while focusing on the new ‘cinéma d’auteur’, presented a bold selection of over 20 feature and short films from here and afar. Approximately 40 guests including directors and young producers attended the 2010 edition in Percé. This year’s event is now firmly grounded as it put into the limelight the talent of young filmmakers as well as presenting the works of well-known film directors.
The next third edition of the Percéides International Arts and Film Festival of Percé will be held in Percé from August 18th to August 20th 2011.
